Gisele Bundchen: Sunscreen is 'poison'

Gisele Bundchen recently declared that sunscreen is "poison," adding that she opts for natural products to protect her skin from the sun's harmful rays.

Most sunscreens contain chemicals that absorb ultraviolet light, which helps prevent sunburns and skin cancer. Those containing a sun protection factor (SPF) of at least 70 have been found to be particularly effective, according to a 2010 New York University study.

"I cannot put this poison on my skin," Bundchen, a 30-year-old Brazilian supermodel and wife of NFL star Tom Brady recently said, according to the UK newspaper The Daily Mail. "I do not use anything synthetic."

Jennifer Aniston Turned Down Saturday Night Live

Jennifer Aniston says she once turned down a role on Saturday Night Live.

Jennifer Aniston

Jennifer Aniston, the American actress who is currently starring alongside Adam Sandler in 'Just Go With It', says she once turned down a regular role on Saturday Night Live to join the cast of FRIENDS, reports Access Hollywood. Appearing on 'The Oprah Winfrey show' yesterday (3rd February 2011) Aniston and Sandler recalled the time when the actress was offered a spot on the hit comedy series. The comedian said, "We wanted Aniston to be on the show with us. And.I remember being on the ninth floor where Lorne Michael's office was and seeing Jen come in. I was like, 'Oh my God, there's Aniston. Is she about to be on our show? Her going in, having a talk, leaving. I was like, 'Wow! I'm gonna be working with Aniston?'" However, Sandler said he was told shortly afterwards that the actress had turned down the role and he jokingly added, "I remember thinking, 'She said no?' She's gonna do that 'Friends'? What the hell is 'Friends'? That was the truth". Aniston said she received plenty of criticism for turning down an established series for a new sitcom, saying, "They were like, 'You're so stupid".

'Just Go With It', which hits cinemas on 11th February 2011, follows the story of a man who enlists the help of a woman and his children to help land the girl of his friends. The comedy also stars Nicole Kidman and Nick Swardson.

Jennifer Lopez: American Idol Already Has Frontrunners

Jennifer Lopez won't name names, but she already has her favorite singers on American Idol.

When asked on SiriusXM radio's The Morning Mash Up if there was a contestant who appeared to be a frontrunner, Lopez admitted, "I thought that about a few different people. And as we go through the process and I see them perform more and more, it changes. That's how many good people we have."

While all the judges have their own opinions, it's Steven Tyler who tends to say the most off-the-wall comments. So what does Lopez think of her costar's antics?

"We have a great time," she says. "When things come out of his mouth, I think half of the reaction is, I whip my head to the side and I'm like, 'Did you just say that?' "

With the absence of Simon Cowell, the current season of Idol feels less caustic and more heartwarming – see examples John Wayne Schulz and Chris Medina – and Lopez approves.

"Some people walk in there and it's a crazy funny thing and then some people walk in there and they really can sing and they have this story," Lopez says. "It's real people who are really out there really going through some stuff and who have dreams. I think that's the magic of it."

Demi And Ashton Create Charity Necklaces

Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher have worked with renowned jeweller Jack Vartanian to create a collection of handcuff shaped necklaces to raise money for charity.

Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher have designed their own collection of necklaces for Valentine's Day (14.02.11).

The Hollywood couple - who married in 2005 - have worked together with renowned jeweller Jack Vartanian to create the range of necklaces in the shape of handcuffs in order to raise funds for their charity, the Demi and Ashton (DNA) Foundation.

The pair are hoping the handcuffs motif will raise awareness of child sex slavery which their non-profit organisation is battling.

The white, yellow and rose gold designs are available with black or white diamonds and will range from between $710 to $2,140 with 50 per cent of each sale going to the charity.

Demi and Ashton are currently in Brazil where the 32-year-old actor took to the catwalk for Brazilian fashion company Colcci at Sao Paulo Fashion Week last week.

The couple spent time exploring Sao Paulo while they visited, with Demi's 16-year-old daughter Tallulah accompanying them.

While there he attempted to engage the locals in some chat, taking to twitter and writing in Portuguese, asking: "Estou pronto para o Brasil. Brazil esta pronto para mim?", roughly translating as: "I am ready for Brazil. Is Brazil ready for me?"

Halle Berry's Movie Was the Last Straw in Custody Battle

Halle Berry's latest movie was supposed to be the big-budget romantic comedy New Year's Eve – but for the actress and her ex, Gabriel Aubry, the feel-good film may have been the final straw in their already-strained custody arrangement over their 2 ½-year-old daughter Nahla.

According to a source close to Berry, the actress's movie contract included compensation for Aubry to accompany her and Nahla to New York City for about two weeks of filming. But when Aubry decided not to go, says the source, Berry was forced to abruptly pull out of the film. She has since been replaced by Katherine Heigl.

Berry, 44, who has a nanny, currently shares custody of Nahla with Aubry. She pulled out of the New Line production not because she wouldn't have childcare help but because she was concerned about leaving Nahla in L.A. while she filmed in N.Y.C., claims the source.

"When Gabriel refused to go, that became a factor in her decision to pull out of the film because she didn't feel right leaving Nahla," says the source. "No job is that important to Halle. Nahla comes first."

The bitter custody battle is a far cry from the exes' arrangement of only last summer, when Aubry accompanied Berry and Nahla to South Africa while the Oscar winner filmed her upcoming thriller, Dark Tide.

On Monday, Berry's rep issued a statement to PEOPLE, stating that the actress had dropped out of New Year's Eve to focus on her "serious concerns" about Nahla's well-being while in Aubry's care.

The next day, Aubry, 35, countered with his own statement, in which he alluded to her withdrawal from New Year's Eve. "While Gabriel is disappointed in Halle's decision to falsely malign him publicly and for her own purposes, he refuses to be pulled into her dispute over a canceled film production," a rep for the model stated.
